We have been continuously improving on our safety performance year on year. Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) is a key parameter that we continuously monitor for all our operations. During the last five years the LTIFR has reduced from 5.50 (2004-05) to 1.52 (2009-10) i.e. reduction of 72%.
