Health and Safety - We are committed to providing a safe, secure and healthy workplace for all employees by using best technologies and practices; backed by our belief that all work related illnesses and injuries are preventable.
We aim to develop, implement and maintain Health and Safety management systems aligned with our commitments and beliefs, and consistent with the world class standards. Most of our operations are certified for OHSAS 18001.
On the occupational health and safety front our continuous improvement programme include periodical audits both internally by safety professionals from across locations and externally by independent qualified safety professionals. The audit recommendations are discussed in the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Committee meetings at the unit and the Company level and implementation of necessary measures ensured.
