It is the responsibility of the heads of our respective subsidiaries and the related department or section managers, supported by the local HSE committee, to ensure implementation of our environment policy.
ISO14001 certification
The majority of our sites are ISO14001 certified.
Audits
Our environmental systems are subject to regular internal and external audits by trained and experienced in-house and external teams to ensure that our policy and systems are being effectively implemented.
Environmental professionals
We have a dedicated team of around 85 environmental professionals. They include certified auditors, environmental engineers, scientists and ecologists. This figure excludes the operation and maintenance personnel responsible for pollution control equipment such as effluent treatment plants, scrubber equipment and acid plants.
